In this module Dr. Khalid will discuss
•The variety of surgical approaches involved in the management of weight
related disorders.
•Risks associated with surgical interventions in weight management, both
short term (intra and Peri operative) as well as longer term morbidity issues.
•The identification of patients appropriate for bariatric procedures and
the role of the multi disciplinary team.
